Kingfisher's Story
Hi, I'm Andrew, owner and technician at Kingfisher Piano. After beginning my career as a Navy Nuclear Operator and spending two decades in Austin's fast-paced world of tech manufacturing, I decided in 2025 to follow my passion for art, music, and antique restoration, and transition into the world of pianos full time.
As a pianist, technician at the University of Texas, and student at the Butler School of Piano Technology, I am dedicated to the craft of the piano, and believe passionately that every pianist deserves the best from their instrument. As a craftsman and a member of the Austin music community, I love working with families and musicians to improve pianos in the way that makes the most sense for the piano and for the client.
